It is a very intense and powerful stone.  It can bring negative emotions and unpleasant truths to the forefront, revealing weaknesses and blockages.  This in turn, leads to deep soul healing. Obsidian is very grounding, bringing clarity and clearing confusion. It is also very effective at absorbing negative energy and cleanses the aura.
