Distance Reiki

Reiki is a form of energy work used to promote healing of physical, mental, and emotional dis-ease.  Reiki means, "universal life force," and as a reiki practitioner, my own energy has been attuned to channel the universal life force.  This is something we all have access to.

As energetic beings, we are designed to move energy and allow it to flow through and around us.  Our energetic bodies are made up of the aura (energy fields, take energy in), chakras (energy centers, breaks down the energy), and meridians (energy pathways, distributes energy throughout the body).  Trauma and stuck emotions and this can cause "energetic blockages" in our systems.

Through reiki, these blockages can be removed to re-establish natural flow, which can release resistance in our physical, mental, and emotional lives.

With distance reiki, the practitioner is able to connect with your energetic essence and send universal life force energy across time and space.  While it is encouraged to find a quiet space to sit or lie still during the session, it is not necessary to take a timeout. This type of healing happens at the cellular level.  You can be driving, tending to the children, working, etc.; the cells in your body will pull in the energy and use it to activate wellness within.

Everyone's experience of distance reiki is different.  You may feel some hot or cool sensations, tingling, feelings of love and comfort, deep relaxation, surge of emotions, or nothing at all. Whatever you experience is okay, and just notice it. Trust that reiki energy will go where it is needed most and be the non-judgmental observer of your personal experience.  Generally speaking, recipients of reiki tend to feel calmer and more relaxed, optimistic, and empowered. Their healing may accelerate; their sense of well-being may increase.
